Korla's remains were cremated and returned to his Family. Korla Pandit was beloved husband of Beryl June DeBeeson Pandit, beloved father of Shari Pandit and Koram John Pandit.
Korla Pandit pioneered early television with Klaus Landsberg/KTLA-TV and Louis Snader Telescriptions with his organ and piano all-music show. He was responsible for several innovations in keyboard and organ playing techniques and was the first musician ever to play these two instruments at the same time. He left an enormous body of work behind for his fans to treasure. He was truly the Godfather of Exotica.
